Grant is a very special cat.

When he was a tiny kitten, he was diagnosed with a neurological condition called cerebellar hypoplasia, which causes him to wobble and fall over when he walks, runs, and plays.

Grant’s mom Emma is a special needs teacher, and Grant’s determination and zest for life inspire her and her students to keep going no matter what obstacles are in the way. Even though Grant is different, he doesn’t let that slow him down, and Emma uses Grant’s story to encourage her students to overcome adversity and believe in themselves. Emma says that Grant has changed her life in more ways than she knew a cat could, and we bet your AHS adopted pet has too!
